Due Date: Sneak Peek

“Due Date” stars Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis as two unlikely companions who are thrown together on a road trip that turns out to be as life-changing as it is outrageous. Downey plays Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife’s due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with him. It turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and test Peter’s nerves to the limit. Catch the trailer after the jump.

Todd Phillips directs from a screenplay by Alan R. Cohen & Alan Freedland and Adam Sztykiel & Todd Phillips, from a story by Cohen & Freedland. “Due Date” also stars Michelle Monaghan, Juliette Lewis and Jamie Foxx. The film is being produced by Phillips and Dan Goldberg, who previously collaborated on “The Hangover.” The behind-the-scenes creative team from “The Hangover” also returns including director of photography Lawrence Sher, production designer Bill Brzeski, editor Debra Neil-Fisher and costume designer Louise Mingenbach. "The hangover" was one of the best comedies last year so we expect a lot from "Due Date".

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, A Green Hat Films Production of A Todd Phillips Movie, “Due Date.” The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and will be available starting November 5, 2010.

  3. Above 2 comments are obviously the same people.

This movie was amazing. One of the funniest movies I've seen all year. If you liked The Hangover, chances are you'd like this.

  4. Well if you left 30 minutes into it you missed a good movie. Due Date was really funny!

  5. The most boring movie ever watched so far. Not funny at all. A real waste of time!!

  6. We had to walk out after about 30 minutes... kept hoping it would get better... very troubling to see an adult punch a child in the stomach and then bully him into silence about the event... very disturbing and certainly NOT FUNNY!!! A waste of time not to mention money. Sorry, we like Robert Downey Jr. and usually really enjoy his work, but this was very disappointing.

  7. This movie was hillarious, exactly the kind of humor an over-sensitive America needs!

  8. The comments above are poles apart.
Back up your point of views or dont bother posting.
    Ye only confuse people.
I will go anyway & wont be leaving after 30 minutes either, to do that smacks of a person with bigger problems.

  9. This movie was so not funny, it sucked, and I wouldn't even suggest renting it....

  10. I honestly have no idea why people are saying this movie wasn't funny. It was hilarious!!! Great movie, and definitely worth watching!

  11. We almost walked out, the first 30 minutes or so were very boring, then it got a bit better but by the end I would have to say, wait for the DVD, definitely NOT worth the price of a movie theater ticket.

PS I loved the hangover but this movie definitely is not even close to that funny.

  12. I truly believe the negative comments are just &%#$#@ disturbers or the most boring people on the planet. This was a laugh out loud movie. I sat in the back and the whole place roared and not one person left. Afterward many people, including me and my wife, were repeating lines and scenes and still laughing. Just see it and have fun. The kid getting punched, ISN'T REAL!

  15. I have a sense of humor and this movie was not funny. It had a few moments and a few lines that make you laugh, but overall you just wish Robert Downey Jr.'s character would walk to LA rather than drive.
Of course if you find a stranger masturbating in the car seat next to you humorous I stand corrected.

  16. Good thing I went and saw the movie with Rachael McAdams instead which was maybe a 5, but some good laughs........she acts too much with her eyes. Where are all the good blockbusters?

  17. I see about fifty movies a year and yes I do have a life. This is number 100. The worst movie this year, boring. you could have left after 30 minutes because there was nothing that you did not know was going to happen. not one funny line in the movie. I hated one guy for being stupid and the other for putting up with him. If you were to find this movie on the street and watched it, you would lose two hours of your life that you will never get back. The better thing would be to watch the previews and then leave QUICKLY.

  18. If you've seen the previews, you've seen the movie...literally. Just another Hollywood example of no originality, trying to cash in on the success of "Hangover"

  19. Strange film. You need to have a certain kind of humour to really 'get' this movie. It's not my cup of tea. It's very long-winded. Also some crazy violence. Not my idea of a comedy.

  22. Painful is correct, painfully funny.
i laughed so hard i could hardly breath.

if you left 30 minutes into this movie you wasted the time you did spend there, because 34 minutes into the movie was the funniest thing i have ever seen.

agreed this movie isnt for everyone, but if you are not a liberal pussy, or a over conservative snob and you have a since of humor SEE THIS MOVIE.

    FUNNIEST MOVIE THIS YEAR

  23. I will bet that all the people who claim they left after 30 minutes have actually picked either team Edward or team Jacob, and either way they are on team Jack Ass

This movie is Fantastic. its not for everyone as someone already said. i would not take my g-ma to it.

and i bet that little bastard child with the druggie parents will be more well mannered LOL Funny movie. but if your a douche bag dont go see it please. you will ruin it for everyone else.

  24. lot of movie distribution and publicity types trying to beef up reviews for this movie at this thread.

  25. Well, you people giving negative comments must have been watching a different film. I thought it was hysterical. I laughed all the way through.

  26. every movie, no matter what it is will have people talk bad about it. It is funny, not as good as hangover but really what movie is as good. Your comparing the movies cause of 1 actor who doesnt even act the same, close but some major differences. See it for yourself and judge and its not a waste of money.

  27. I had high expectations for this film. Thought it was match up to The Hangover. Unfortunately I felt a little disappointed. Although Due Date had some funny moments, I did not find it hilarious/laugh out loud. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

  28. if you walked out of this movie or thought it wasn't funny its one of 2 things. either your lying for whatever reason suits you,or you dont know good comedy and have no sense of humor at all. this movie is almost as funny as planes, trains and automobiles. it was a little crude in parts, but comedy is like that these days. it started with the simpsons. the acting was very good, I saw it with my wife and im going to see it again with a friend to laugh.
