ARRIVAL to Hold Sneak Previews February 6 and 7 in Select Cinemas
Nerdist calls it, “The smartest blockbuster since The Dark Knight,” while NY Magazine describes it as “An eerie, tantalizing, altogether superb puzzler”. And the film, "Arrival" is nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Director and Adapted Screenplay. While the film has been released for quite awhile in some regions, us Pinoys have yet to see what the fuss is all about. But Philippine audiences can finally catch it early by more than a week in sneak previews scheduled today and Tuesday, February 6 and 7 in select cinemas everywhere. Tickets will be at regular admission prices. Unfortunately, this is still hot of the press and no details yet on where "Arrival" is exactly available. Our suggestion is to just call up your favorite cinema and confirm on your own.
"Arrival" is a provocative science fiction thriller from acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve. When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) - are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity. The film Also stars Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker.
Opening across the Philippines on February 15, Arrival is distributed in the Philippines by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
