WATCH: Another Stephen King Gets Remade on the Big Screen with PET SEMATARY Trailer

Sometimes, dead is better. Paramount Pictures last week revealed the first "Pet Sematary" trailer based on the Stephen King bestseller. The film is headlined by Jason Clarke and John Lithgow. "Pet Sematary" follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences. This is not the first time that the novel has been made into a film. The first one was made back in 1989 and yielded a sequel three years after. Check out the trailer below:

"Pet Sematary" is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures and watch the film in Philippine cinemas soon.
