The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) continues its push to support the local cinema scene with one of its biggest events yet. Cine Lokal, in collaboration SM Cinema, will feature award-winning, mostly homegrown independent films starting tomorrow, April 21, 2017. The platforms aims are two-fold. First and foremost, to provide a commercial platform readily and easily available for upcoming talented Filipino filmmakers and second, make the viewing public more supportive and appreciative of the independent scene. The event's grand launch was held yesterday, April 19, 2017, graced by President Rodrigo Duterte himself at SM Mall of Asia. For its debut program, named "Salve Pelikula", it will feature films based on faith. Said films are listed below:

4. Iadya Mo Kami by Mel Chionglo
There will be 8 SM Cinemas that will feature Cine Lokal namely: SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM Iloilo, SM Southmall, SM Cebu, SM Bacoor and SM Mall of Asia.
