20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for its upcoming 2019 film “The King Who Would Be King”. The film stars the up-and-coming actor Louis Serkis, son of actor Andy Serkis, in the titular role. "The Kid Who Would Be King” promises to be an extremely exciting epic family adventure where old-school magic meets the modern world. Alex is a teenager who thinks he’s just another nobody until he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone, Excalibur. Now, he must unite his friends and enemies into a band of knights and, together with the legendary wizard Merlin (Patrick Stewart), take on the wicked enchantress Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). With the future at stake, Alex must become the great leader he never dreamed he could be. With a pedigreed team that includes world-renowned cinematographer Bill Pope, who worked on the worldwide hit the "Matrix" trilogy and the upcoming film “Alita: Battle Angel”, the film could be the surprise hit next year. Dean Chaumoo, Tom Taylor, Rhianna Doris and, Angus Imrie round out the cast. Catch the exclusive trailer of the film below:
