The G.I. Joe franchise had a bad reputation the last time it was around the big screen. But this year, the origin film "Snake Eyes" plans to do things right this time around. The film which is slated for an October 2020 release stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Samara Weaving, Úrsula Corberó, Haruka Abe, Iko Uwais, Takehiro Hira and is being directed by Robert Schwentke. Henry Golding replaces Ray Park as the titular character Snake Eyes. The film had already done and completed production in Vancouver, Canada last year. "Snake Eyes" will follow Snake Eyes as he seeks revenge for the death of his father by joining a ninja clan. The Japan production was properly kicked off by having a special event at the 500 year old Hie-Jinja Shrine in Tokyo. Japan. Catch the exclusive photos from the event below:
