The hit interactive survival horror video game Until Dawn has just released a first look into the film adaptation of the same name. Director David F. Sandberg is at the helm to showcase his take on the video game's unique premise. The trailer deviates from what's familiar for video game fans with a very different take on the "butterfly effect" mechanic - now a deadly game of Groundhog Day.
In the film, Clover and her group of friends search for clues regarding her sister Melanie’s disappearance. But when they arrive at Melanie's last known location, they find themselves trapped as a masked killer stalks and kills them one by one, only for them to wake up and relive the nightmare once more.
Until Dawn stars Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, Maia Mitchell, and Peter Stormare, who also starred in the original video game. The film is coming out soon in the Philippines. Connect with the hashtag #UntilDawnMovie
