WATCH: ALICE IN BORDERLAND SEASON 3 Premieres the Joker Stage on September 25, 2025

The high-stakes survival thriller Alice in Borderland returns with an unexpected third season on September 25, 2025, on Netflix. Based on Haro Aso’s best-selling manga, this new season dives even deeper into the twisted world of the "Borderland" where every game is a matter of life and death.

Directed once again by Shinsuke Sato, Season 3 brings back lead stars Kento Yamazaki (Arisu) and Tao Tsuchiya (Usagi), along with a fresh mix of new and returning cast members that raise the tension and complexity of the story even further. Among the new faces are Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, and Kento Kaku, while familiar names like Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, and Katsuya Maiguma reprise their roles.

The newly released teaser trailer offers a glimpse of what lies ahead and the teaser poster is equally haunting, showing Arisu and Usagi reaching for one another, surrounded by an ominous void.

Season 3 introduces the "Joker" stage, a new layer of psychological and physical danger. Following the abduction of Usagi by a mysterious scholar obsessed with the afterlife, Arisu must re-enter the deadly Borderland. Teaming up with both familiar and new players, he embarks on a final journey to confront the truth and hopefully, find a way back to the real world.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the series, Alice in Borderland Season 3 promises even more twists, betrayals, and mind-bending games in the fight to survive.
