DC’s New Era Expands as SUPERGIRL Trailer Released Starring Milly Alcock


The teaser trailer for “Supergirl” has recently landed, giving fans their first look at Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El in DC Studios’ highly anticipated next chapter. Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film brings a bold, emotionally charged take on the iconic hero and is set to arrive in Philippine cinemas on June 24, 2026.

Produced by DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran, Supergirl stars Milly Alcock (best known for her role in the series House of the Dragon) in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. She is joined by an impressive cast that includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

In the film, when an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes close to home, Kara Zor-El is forced into an uneasy alliance with an unlikely companion. What follows is an epic, interstellar journey fueled by vengeance, justice, and self-discovery setting Supergirl on a path unlike anything she’s faced before.

The film is written by Ana Nogueira and is based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by a powerhouse creative team including cinematographer Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B. Sheppard, visual effects supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, and composer Ramin Djawadi.

DC Studios presents a Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company production, "Supergirl" will open in theaters and IMAX® across North America on June 26, 2026, with international releases, including the Philippines, happening two days earlier on June 24, 2026, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
