By the power of Grayskull, He-Man is back. The iconic Mattel franchise returns with a reboot in “Masters of the Universe,” a live-action adaptation directed by Travis Knight. The film promises a grand reintroduction to one of pop culture’s most enduring heroes.  View the teaser trailer below:

Leading the charge is Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, the long-lost heir to Eternia. After being separated from his home for 15 years, Adam is drawn back by the legendary Sword of Power, only to discover that Eternia has fallen under the ruthless rule of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. With his world in ruins and his family in danger, Adam must embrace his destiny and transform into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. To stand against Skeletor, he also joins forces with Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan, aka Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba) in a battle that will determine the fate of Eternia itself.

Alongside Galitzine, Leto, Mendes, and Elba, the film boasts an impressive ensemble that brings the beloved characters of Masters of the Universe to life with Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin,, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson,, Charlotte Riley, and  Kristin Wiig as the voice of Roboto.

“Masters of the Universe” is set to arrive in Philippine cinemas in June 2026.
