Watch Avatar: Fire and Ash on Disney+ Staring June 24, 2026

Avatar: Fire and Ash, the Oscar®-winning global blockbuster from last year will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting on June 24, 2026. The third film in Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron’s phenomenally successful “Avatar” franchise has grossed $1.48 billion worldwide at the box office and won an Academy Award® for best visual effects.

 

Featuring thrilling action, grand spectacle, and unforgettable characters, the film as in tradition brought in spectacular visual effects, dazzling new environments, and stunning new creatures. 

 

The film joins the Avatar Collection on Disney+, where fans can stream the first two installments along with the documentary “Fire And Water: Making The Avatar Films.”

 

“Avatar: Fire and Ash,” which is directed by James Cameron, stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Jack Champion, and Kate Winslet.

 

In the film, we return to the breathtaking world of Pandora. This time, the Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and their family are living amongst the Metkayina Clan in the picturesque reefs of Pandora. They are still reeling from the death of a family member at the hands of the RDA. But when one of them is threatened again,  the Sully's journey through the skies. But their journey is cut short when they’re attacked by members of the Mangkwan Clan, a.k.a. the Ash People.
