Netflix has officially released the trailer and key art for ANIMALS, a kidnap thriller directed by Ben Affleck. Set to premiere on October 9, 2026, the film pairs Affleck with a star-studded cast to tell a gripping story of political ambition, dark secrets, and high-stakes survival.

In the film, Ben Affleck stars as a high-profile candidate running for mayor in Los Angeles, whose life is thrown into chaos when his young son is suddenly kidnapped. Desperate to rescue their child, the mayoral hopeful and his wife find themselves dragged into a dangerous web of deception.
