Hadouken! The Official Trailer "STREET FIGHTER" is Here

Get ready to step back into the ring! The wait is finally over for fans of the legendary arcade franchise. Paramount Pictures and Legendary Pictures have officially unleashed the first official trailer for Street Fighter and it’s everything we hoped for with high-octane battles, iconic special moves, and a heavy dose of nostalgia. Check out the pulse-pounding trailer below:

One of the most talked-about elements of the new trailer isn't just the action scenes but it’s the music. The footage features an unreleased version of “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” by Tupac Shakur. Originally created for Mike Tyson in the 1990s.

Set in 1993, the film takes us back to the roots of the franchise. The story follows estranged friends Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo). While Ryu has been living a secluded life, Ken has become something of a media personality. The two are brought back together when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. But as the fighters gather, it becomes clear that this battle royale is more than just a competition. Behind the scenes lies a deadly conspiracy that forces Ryu and Ken to face their pasts and each other.

Director Kitao Sakurai has assembled an star-studded cast that brings the classic roster to life like never before:

  • Noah Centineo as Ken Masters
  • Andrew Koji as Ryu
  • Callina Liang as Chun-Li
  • David Dastmalchian as the villainous M. Bison
  • Cody Rhodes as Guile
  • Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai as Akuma
  • Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson as Balrog
  • Jason Momoa as Blanka (Momoa also serves as a co-producer on the film)

The cast is rounded out by Andrew Schulz (Dan Hibiki), Eric André (Don Sauvage), Vidyut Jammwal (Dhalsim), Orville Peck (Vega), Olivier Richters (Zangief), Hirooki Goto (E. Honda), Rayna Vallandingham (Juli), and Alexander Volkanovski (Joe).
