Netflix Unveils Comedy Series "The WONDERfools" Coming on May 15, 2026

As the clock ticked down toward the year 2000, the world was gripped by a very specific kind of madness. While some were hoarding canned goods and fearing the "Millennium Bug" would crash every computer on Earth, a small group in Korea were apparently dealing with something much more super. Netflix has officially announced its latest action-comedy series, The WONDERfools (원더풀스) will premiere on May 15.

The series centers on a group of eccentric, everyday citizens who unexpectedly stumble into superhuman abilities. But this isn't your polished superhero story. They’re goofy, uncoordinated, and utterly unprepared for the responsibility of saving the world. However, with a rising evil threatening their community amidst the growing doomsday panic of the turn-of-the-century, they’re the only line of defense the town has.
