ALTERED CARBON is Looking to be the Next Great Netflix Original

In the future, consciousness can be digitized. Human bodies are interchangeable. And death is no longer permanent. Sounds familiar? Nope, it's not San Juniperno from "Black Mirror" Season 3 but the premise of the upcoming Netflix original sci-fi series "Altered Carbon". The series is set to launch worlwide next year on February 2, 2018, Friday. You can catch the Altered Carbon date announcement and more info on the show below:

Based on the classic cyberpunk noir novel by Richard K. Morgan, "Altered Carbon" is an intriguing story of murder, love, sex, and betrayal, set more than 300 years in the future. Society has been transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent. Takeshi Kovacs is the lone surviving soldier in a group of elite interstellar warriors who were defeated in an uprising against the new world order. His mind was imprisoned, “on ice”, for centuries until Laurens Bancroft, an impossibly wealthy, long-lived man, offers Kovacs the chance to live again. In exchange, Kovacs has to solve a murder … that of Bancroft himself. The show stars Martha Higareda as Detective Kristin Ortega, Joel Kinnaman as Takeshi Kovacs, James Purefoy as Laurens Bancroft, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Quell, Ato Essandoh as Vernon Elliot, Chris Conner as Poe, Will Yun Lee as Takeshi “Birth Kovacs” and Dichen Lechman as Reileen Kawahara.
