SQUID GAME Season Now Official as Revealed by Director Hwang Dong-hyuk

A whole new round is coming. Taking the world by storm, "Squid Game" was the surprise Korean hit series that defined 2021. And now, the director, writer and producer of the series has confirmed that the second season has been greenlit by Netflix. This was unveiled in an exclusive letter from Director Hwang Dong-hyuk addressed to the show's fans. Not much more has been revealed but this is awesome news indeed. You can catch the letter below:

About Squid Game:
Squid Game is a 9 episode series starring Lee Jung-Jae and Park Hae-Soo. A mysterious invitation to join the game is sent to people at risk who are in dire need of money. 456 participants from all walks of life are locked into a secret location where they play games in order to win 45.6 billion won. Every game is a Korean traditional children's game such as Red Light, Green Light, but the consequence of losing is death. Who will be the winner, and what is the purpose behind this game?
