Murder Mystery Film 'Where the Crawdads Sing' Holds Advanced Sneak Previews on Sept 5 to 6

Critics describe it as “an engrossing mystery that keeps you guessing until the end.” And while the wait was long, now local audiences has a chance to unravel the mystery earlier than expected as "Where the Crawdads Sing" sets sneak previews on September 5 & 6 in select theaters - that’s a full week before the film opens wide across the country on September 14. Interested parties may check with their favorite theaters for their participation, ticket prices, and screening schedules.

Based on the best-selling novel by Delia Owens, "Where the Crawdads Sing" tells the story of Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina and finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery.

Today’s announcement of the sneaks by Columbia Pictures coincides with the milestone that "Where the Crawdads Sing" has just achieved last week -- the film has crossed the $100 million benchmark globally (against a budget of $24 million).  The gripping drama has now amassed $78.8M domestic (US) and $21.5M from the international box office (Australia, New Zealand and Europe).
