“Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc” Coming to PH Cinemas on September 24, 2025 Featuring New Opening and Ending Themes

Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu is making a much-anticipated return to the Chainsaw Man universe with brand-new music for the upcoming film adaptation Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. Fans will remember Yonezu as the artist behind the anime’s explosive opening theme “Kick Back,” which quickly became iconic in its own right.

This time, Yonezu is doubling the excitement by creating the movie’s opening theme, titled “Iris Out.” In addition, he’s teaming up with J-pop icon Utada Hikaru, who will lend their voice to the ending theme “Jane Doe.”

Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc marks the first time the smash-hit series is making its leap to cinemas. Adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s beloved manga, the movie will cover the highly anticipated Reze storyline.

The story continues the journey of Denji, once a down-on-his-luck Devil Hunter working for the yakuza to pay off his father’s debt. After being betrayed and left for dead, Denji was resurrected through a pact with his loyal chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, fusing them together into the unstoppable Chainsaw Man. Now, as Denji navigates a bloody battlefield between devils, hunters, and hidden enemies, he encounters Reze, a mysterious new girl who quickly captures his heart. But love comes at a brutal price. What begins as a tender connection soon spirals into Denji’s most dangerous battle yet, where survival clashes with emotion in a world with no rules.

Fans in the Philippines won’t have to wait long to experience the mayhem. Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc opens in local cinemas on September 24, 2025.
