SpongeBob SquarePants is coming back and this time, it's a week earlier than it's initial Philippine release date. The film now opens in local cinemas on January 14, 2026. In this fifth film in the franchise, SpongeBob is diving into his biggest, boldest, and funniest adventure yet! In this all-new underwater adventure, SpongeBob is desperate to prove himself to Mr. Krabs and show that he’s more than just a fry cook. His quest leads him to chase down the legendary Flying Dutchman, a ghostly pirate whose secrets take SpongeBob to the deepest and strangest corners of the sea. Returning to the mic are Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick, and Rodger Bumpass as Squidward. They’re joined by new voices George Lopez, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, and Ice Spice, with Regina Hall and Mark Hamill in mysterious roles.
