BTS’ ARIRANG Era Goes Global With Live Netflix Concert and Documentary

Global pop icons BTS are set to reunite on the world stage with “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG,” a monumental live concert event streaming exclusively on Netflix on March 21, 2026, at 8:00 PM KST (7:00 AM EST / 4:00 AM PST). Broadcast live from the historic Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, the event celebrates the release of BTS’ highly anticipated fifth studio album, ARIRANG, marking the group’s first full-group performance following the completion of their mandatory military service.

Netflix has partnered with HYBE to bring pop royalty back together for what is being billed as a once-in-a-generation global comeback, streamed simultaneously to fans around the world.

RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook reunite as BTS for the first time in years, returning not just as performers, but as artists shaped by time, growth, and reflection. Their comeback arrives on the heels of the announcement of ARIRANG, an album described as deeply personal exploring identity, roots, and the evolution of who BTS are today.

Following the album’s release, BTS will embark on the massive ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027), spanning 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

“BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” represents a major milestone for Netflix, becoming the first-ever live event broadcast from Korea to be livestreamed globally on the platform. The event continues Netflix’s expanding slate of live programming, following high-profile broadcasts such as WWE Raw, NFL Christmas Gameday, Paul vs Tyson, and Six Kings Slam. The celebration doesn’t end with the live concert though as on March 27, 2026, Netflix will premiere “BTS: THE RETURN,” a feature-length documentary chronicling the group’s long-awaited reunion and the creation of ARIRANG.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bao Nguyen, the documentary offers unprecedented access to BTS as they reunite in Los Angeles to create new music together after years apart. The film captures moments of doubt, laughter, reflection, and rediscovery as the seven members navigate how to begin again—honoring their past while redefining their future.
