It is officially a new era for our favorite neighborhood hero. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have recently released exciting new details for the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day and it promises to be a massive shift for Peter Parker both emotionally and physically. Picking up in a world that has completely forgotten who Peter Parker is, the film finds our hero fighting crime full-time while carrying the crushing weight of watching his old friends move on without him. Check out the latest trailer below:

As Peter begins to undergo these frightening physical changes, he turns to a former fellow Avenger for answers - Dr. Bruce Banner. This desperation sets the stage for a legendary comic book matchup with the towering monstrous Savage Hulk.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton teased the explosive dynamic: "To many, the most iconic pairing in the comics is Spider-Man and The Hulk. When we brought back Mark Ruffalo, we gave careful consideration as to what iterations of the character we would see and how to put these two icons together, and what – or who – would cause Bruce to become savage again."

Mark Ruffalo, ecstatic to step back into the rage-fueled role and reunite with Cretton, added that the two characters initially connect over their shared love for physics before everything goes south. "Banner and Peter really hit it off as science bros," Ruffalo shared. "But things happen..."

The film boasts an incredible ensemble cast. Alongside Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, the movie stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, and Michael Mando.

Catch the film when it releases on July 29, 2026 in Philippine cinemas nationwide. You can book your tickets!
