The Host Teaser Shows Another Stephenie Meyer in the Pipeline

"The Twilight Saga" is now ending but fans of Stephenie Meyer rejoice as a new film adaptation on our of her novels is already in the works. "The Host" is set in the near future where aliens have already "conquered" the Earth by taking over the bodies of humans. The protagonist, Melanie Stryder, is unfortunately taken over by Wanderer, an alien. Unlike others, Melanie refuses to let go of her body and mind making one body the host of two spirits. The first teaser (which you can also catch after the break) was just released a few hours ago and to be frank, it doesn't contain much. But its simplicity intrigues and the sci-fi twist might add more non-Twilight fans into the mix. "The Host" is scheduled for a March 23, 2013 release.
