Netflix's Next Original ALTERED CARBON Launches 02/02/18 and these Featurettes Just Make the Wait a Bit Longer

Based on the classic cyberpunk noir novel by Richard K. Morgan, "Altered Carbon" is an intriguing story of murder, love, sex, and betrayal. The story is set more than 300 years in the future where society has been transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent. The Netflix original is looking to be a huge winner with its awe-inspiring world and action-packed fights. Both of these are heavily-featured in the two featurettes that are showcased and can be viewed below:

Takeshi Kovacs is the lone surviving soldier in a group of elite interstellar warriors who were defeated in an uprising against the new world order. His mind was imprisoned, “on ice”, for centuries until Laurens Bancroft, an impossibly wealthy, long-lived man, offers Kovacs the chance to live again. In exchange, Kovacs has to solve a murder … that of Bancroft himself. The show stars Martha Higareda as Detective Kristin Ortega, Joel Kinnaman as Takeshi Kovacs, James Purefoy as Laurens Bancroft, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Quell, Ato Essandoh as Vernon Elliot, Chris Conner as Poe, Will Yun Lee as Takeshi “Birth Kovacs” and Dichen Lechman as Reileen Kawahara.
