WATCH: SLENDERMAN is Out to Get Viewers on the Big Screen this 2018

Almost a decade ago, the Slender Man creepypasta was started as part of a Photoshop contest. Unbeknownst to its creator, his two edited photos of children from the early 20th Century will start one of the most popular horror characters created in this generation. The Slender Man is a tall, alien-like creature with no clear facial features. The character has been featured in several mediums already like video games, television shows even music. Now in 2018, the Slender Man is forcing his way into the big screen with the horror film "Slenderman" from Columbia Pictures. Watch the first trailer of below:

In a small town in Massachusetts, four high school girls perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of Slender Man. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin to suspect that she is, in fact, HIS latest victim. Sylvian White directs the film and stars Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso, and Javier Botet.
