"The Kingmaker" by Lauren Greenfield is a documentary piece about Imelda Marcos and the Marcoses and how she is trying her best to restore the image of her family - even if it means bending the truth. To quote one of the iconic lines in "The Kingmaker": "Perception is real, and the truth is not." - Imelda Marcos.
The documentary piece made its debut in the 76th Venice Film Festival and has won numerous awards since then.
