Horsemen: Sneak Peek

It has been a long time since we heard from Dennis Quaid. It seems that he has been in and out of the film industry recently. We consider him as one of our favorites actually and we are glad to know that he will star in a new film, "Horsemen". Jump to the next page to read more about his latest film.

A suspense-filled crime thriller, the movie opens at local cinemas on September 23, 2009 through Viva International Pictures.

In the tradition of “Se7en” and “The Silence of the Lambs” comes the killer movie of the year – HORSEMEN.
In HORSEMEN, Aidan Breslin (award winner Dennis Quaid) is a bitter detective emotionally distanced from his two young sons following the untimely death of his
devoted wife. While
investigating a series of murders of rare violence, he discovers a terrifying link between himself and the suspects in a chain of murders that seem to be based on the Biblical prophecies concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. The film also stars critically-acclaimed actress Zhang Ziyi.

In his 2002 directorial debut “Spun,” director Jonas Åkerlund took audiences to the gritty, grotesque, toxic and, at times, humorously absurd underworld of methamphetamine addiction.

Now, in HORSEMEN, Åkerlund brings us to a very different world. This time it’s a place where seeming normalcy collides head-on with teeming abnormality as a modern day cop becomes transfixed on a series of brutal and bizarre killings rooted on the Biblical prophecy of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

“Jonas is a visual genius,” says actor Dennis Quaid. “He really knows how to tell a story in the images.”

Other stars of the film include Emmy® nominee Clifton Collins Jr. (TV’s “Thief”), Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) and Eric Balfour (TV’s “24”).

Find out who the real killer is in this year’s most anticipated crime flick – HORSEMEN – as it opens at your favorite theaters.
