Watch this movie right now:
In an interview, the director for "Eva", Jeffrey Hidalgo admits that his creation is really about sex. And no doubt, "Eva" truly was all about sex and nothing more. Sadly, this meant that everything else in the film just didn't make a lot of sense and if you're the type of person that thinks with your thing down under rather than the one on top, then you'll probably find "Eva" worth a watch. For us, it was one of the worst films we have seen all year.
The seemingly innocent Eva (Angeli Khang) has just been hired by Victoria (Sab Aggabao) - an attractive model who has unlimited sexual appetite. As the days pass by, Eva discovers that her boss not only likes men but also women too. And as Victoria finds Eva in particular to be attractive, can Eva hold the temptations that hound her back? Can a relationship between boss and worker work?
Things are getting dumber and dumber now for VivaMax releases. In particular, the writing has gone down the toilet. It all revolves around sex now and "Eva" is another one of those releases that wants audiences to focus on sex scenes and nothing else.  Don't get us wrong, we do not despise erotic films - but when an erotic film is completely devoid of any value, purpose, or story - you know that this isn't the right way to do it. Unsurprisingly, "Eva" is one of those releases. Our bar was pretty low already but "Eva" has massive issues in its writing, pacing, and character development - all of which are non-existent. The jump from Eva being innocent to a maniac herself was abrupt or her relationship with Lauro turned from her being raped to love in a single conversation was bizarre and improper (what are we trying to teach here?). Everything else in the film was driven by the next sex scene that they needed to accomplish - even if basic logic or basic morals be gone. Once again, these are the kind of films that we need to stop making right now. What a waste of money, brain cells, and time.
